Alice Sheppard Fidler’s work explores the way emerging technologies are changing our personal and political stories. Having originally trained in textile design, she worked in interior design before becoming a set designer for film and television.
In her art practice, she applies her skills and experiences from her past careers to make objects and installations, often made from recycled materials, that explore the boundaries between private and public space, with a particular focus on women’s stories.
